On the last Saturday before Christmas and the day after Australia’s hottest day on record, SPUKES kicked off the annual Rosebud Christmas Parade with a street performance for early shoppers and cafe crowds on the main street near McDaids Irish Pub.
The weather was kinder, the rain held off and the SPUKES were in great form.
After a 30 minute first session we did a quick relocation up the hill to Dimmey’;s where we were joined by the Jazz Jokers as the Peninsula School of Dance led Santa and his huskies into the forecourt.
