COVID Policy and Updates

This policy is based on published guidelines at “Arts and live performance sector guidance as it applies to Community centres and halls (reviewed 19 January 2022)”

Check-in Marshal

A SPukes COVID Check-in Marshal will ensure members check-in via the Service Victoria app and confirm members are fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption. SPukes will keep records of all sessions and attendees.

Masks

Wearing a mask is required for everyone aged 8 and above in all indoor settings in Victoria (unless an exception applies, such as when in a home, when consuming food or drink, or when receiving beauty services).

Professional and non-professional performers must wear a face mask if performing or rehearsing indoors, unless wearing one would impede performance or they have a lawful reason not to wear one.

Social Distancing

Density limits for the hall are in accordance with those set by Mornington Shire Council. Players will be seated at all ukulele sessions and comply with COVID safe guidelines.

Maximise Ventilation

All windows and outside doors will be open where possible to maximise ventilation to improve indoor air quality, reduce or eliminate recirculated air and increase the use of outdoor air where possible.
