This is a long video – by our standards anyway. I wanted to try an instrumental that we could use as a first step in bringing our group together through Zoom or FaceTime.
We would record the tune and get our people to record themselves shouting “TEQUILA”. Hopefully some, like Phil and Jan Murphy will have sombreros etc to add to the occasion.
We intended to send out the actual performance, which starts around the 9 minute mark. We found the ‘rehearsal’ was better than the ‘performance’ which says a lot about our capabilities!
What you are seeing was shot in real time, no stops, start or editing.
Fantastic, u make part of my- sort of- stay at home time enjoyable.
I’m playing my uke every morning to myself, and tell my self I’m sounding good!
Apart from that I’m walking a lot, reading much, painting, writing life stories, just hanging in there having a laugh!
Stay safe. Can’t wait to get back.
Keep up the good work

You guys are the best, just been laughing a lot. Great videos, keep going. Love your brother
Thank you for entertaining us yet again!
Lovely!
Wish I could play like that. Good to hear and see you having fun. So natural. Good to keep in touch
Missing Saturday’s awfully but loving these videos guys! It’s amazing how these little instruments can pick you up when you’re feeling flat, even if you try not to sing, the words just float out. Though I’m quite sure hubby is ready to throw every one of my ukes out the window! Tequila!
Thanks for the laughs and keep it up.
HAPPINESS IS…. KAREN & ALAN PLAYING “TEQUILA”
You two have made my day!!! You are so talented and fun. I have chuckled away, just as we do on a Saturday. I felt we were in the hall (except for the lovely picture behind you.)
Love your music, love your quips, love your laughs, love your dedication,in fact everything about you.
I’ll have to own up though, I have not been practising as much as I should have been. You have spurred me on.
Cheers and keep safe.
